Rain to mid-morning then some annoying showers later on that appear to have dropped very few migrants in. On site 6 Blackcap, 3 Wheatear, 2 Lesser 'throat, Chiffchaff, Whitethroat & Willow Warbler. Southbound 40 Sand Martin, 17 Swallow, 2 Teal & Whimbrel. Purp on the point & Sanderling nearby.
Vestal is a migrant that we only see on rare occasions despite it being noted more frequently by others in Suffolk. This fresh "red-striped" individual doesn't look like it's migrated far to reach us.
