Monday 26th May 2014

A nice calm overcast start to the day, before the breeze picked up from the north-west. The bird of the day was a Grey-headed Wagtail on the reserve, unfortunately it was flushed by a dog and headed north and could not be relocated. Otherwise the only migrants seen were 28 Swallow and a Yellow Wagtail south and 6 Swift and a House Martin north.

9 Birds ringed; 3 Dunnock, 2 Blackbird, 1 Linnet, 1 Robin, 1 House Sparrow, 1 Greenfinch. We also caught a control Robin.
