A sunny day with a moderate south-south-east wind. The day started well with a couple of Spotted Flycatchers and our first Turtle Dove to be ringed here for 9 years. Other migrants noted were a Blackcap and 20 Swallows, 3 House Martin & a couple of Swift south. Offshore 2 couple of Whimbrel and 6 Bar-tailed Godwit headed south and 9 Brent Geese flew north
An Emperor Dragonfly was seen mid morning and amongst the butterflies were our first Painted Lady of the year and 25+ Green Hairstreaks.

11 Birds Ringed; 4 Linnet, 2 Greenfinch, 2 Spotted Flycatcher, 1 Robin, 1 Turtle Dove, 1 Dunnock.
