Wednesday 17th January 2024

888 Cormorant went out fishing early morning which is an identical figure to a few days back. A drake Eider flew south but very little other offshore activity. 2 new Song Thrush in the afternoon will be refugees from the cold heading to the coast for less frozen conditions. Cold standing around counting 3,200 Starlings coming into roost in the brambles at the northern end although roughly 750 of these left the roost last thing due to two dogs poking their heads into the bushes.

Ringing: 2 Song Thrush
