This particular Med Gull is a car park glutton that has been with us several years.
2,150 Cormorants went out fishing first thing. 45 minutes seawatch produced a handful of Kitts, Red-throated Divers & a Guillemot coming and going. On site a Water Rail in the observatory compound is quite likely the one last seen on xmas day that has been skulking away.

Monday 28th January 2019
2,200 Cormorants started heading out fishing at 0705 hrs which is far to early on a cold, clear windy morning. Bright sunshine so little time spent looking at the sea with just a handful of Red-throated Diver noted. A walk around the site produced the wintering pair of Stonechat at the north end. The Collared Doves may have started nesting as only dad on show.
