No sign of yesterdays "goodies" with migrants very hard to come by. On the move heading south 27 Swift, 20 Swallow, 2 Jackdaw & Sand Martin with half a dozen Brents knocking around offshore apparently undecided as to what they were going to end up doing. Deadly quiet in the bushes although 2 Wheatear are still on the reserve. Although little migration going on there are plenty of baby birds on the reserve with the Lesser Whitethroats opposite the observatory bringing there young out this morning always pleasing to see.
15 birds ringed: 5 Dunnock, 4 Ringed Plover, 2 Linnet, 2 Blackbird, 1 Chaffinch, 1 Greenfinch.
