Glorious sunny frosty morning. Today's migrant is a Fieldfare present early morning. Just 780 Cormorant went out first thing with the bulk of them heading out to the north of us rather than flying overhead. Glaucous Gull is still offshore & the Rock Pipit on the point. 5 Med Gulls in the harbour is worth a mention as so far this year only 3 or 4 have been logged. A useful looking candidate for a first-winter Yellow-legged Gull was along the river but, to be honest, we are probably overlooking several of this species of this age group in the melee behind shipping and often poor viewing conditions if the sun is out.
