Migrant Hawkers
Warm, bright sunshine again right through the day with the slightly increased ENE breeze failing to clear the hazy conditions again rendering any attempts at seawatching tricky to say the least; there were fewer migrants across the area than yesterday as totals comprised 10 Grey Wagtails, 3 Yellow Wagtails, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, 2 Wheatears, 2 Meadow Pipits, a Blackcap and a Willow Warbler.
Feathered Brindle is a nationally scarce species that occurs from Suffolk southwards on areas of vegetated shingle & sand dunes.
Ringing: Woodpigeon 1, Robin 1, Blue Tit 1, Lesser Whitethroat 1, Blackcap 1, Grey Wagtail 3
