When the Stenna Hollandica came out of the Stour and performed its standard hand break turn to the right where the Stour meets the Orwell a Black-throated Diver got up, flew back & forth beyond the ferry several times before departing up the River Orwell although its "bending the LBO boundaries" to pretend it was actually here. This is probably the same individual that's been overwintering up the estuary for many weeks. Apart from that its the regular 6 Turnstone, 3 Ringos, 2 Purps & Rock Pipit. 19 Linnet is our highest count of the year, so far, and indicative of the milder conditions as is Mr & Mrs Peregrine flying around a fair bit early on.
