A lot of observers helped make up for the bad weather this morning, by recording a good 40 species either present or passing through. 3 black redstarts were out on the reserve, 2 firecrests were in the compound and a willow warbler was seen. 62 red-throated divers were on the move, though not all in one direction. 2 grey herons headed south, along with a fulmar, 3 gannets and a Mediterranean gull. A female-type reed bunting was out on the reserve.
