Some migrants trickled through today despite the hampering north wind. 2 willow warblers singing from different areas was not something we expected. A reed warbler also sung quietly in the observatory compound. A blackcap we ringed on 25th May was showing less migratory urges though it still has time if it moves on. A few swifts moved north early in the morning with the overcast skies.

White Ermine is one of the otherwise common species that Landguard only records on occasions.

Birds Ringed: Black Redstart 1, Goldfinch 1, Linnet 4, Willow Warbler 1, Woodpigeon 1.
