880 Cormorant went out fishing early. 2 Stock Dove again visited. The roost at the north end was a cacophony of noise from an unknown number of House Sparrow before the Starlings arrived. Roughly 6,000 were murmuring around with the roost overflowing from the brambles into the trees at Customs plus lighting towers. Disturbance from ignorant humans plus some dogs delays them settling down for the night although the human presence may well be deterring avian predators from coming in for supper.
