25 Common Scoter flew north somewhere nearer Holland than Suffolk they were that far offshore. A Little Egret came in off the sea & in the dispersing juveniles department singles of Chaffinch & Great Spotted Woodpecker were noted. The Chaffinch is worth highlighting as it's the first one we have seen since early June of a species that is becoming a scarcer breeder in the Felixstowe area in recent years.

Catoptria pinella is one of the better looking micro moths that turns up occasionally.
