Migrants today included 3 Whitethroat, 2 Blackcap, 2 Chiffchaff, Chaffinch, Grey Wagtail, Jay, Song Thrush & Wheatear plus southbound 3 Swallow, 2 Goldfinch, 2 Skylark, Yellow Wagtail with northbound 2 Swallow.
Moth numbers still very low. Feeding on White Bryony this is the first
Phtheochroa rugosana of the season which is fairly numerous here.
Ringing: 1 Blackcap, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Jay.
