A misty start but soon becoming sunny and warm. Migrants continue to arrive with a good selection again today; 4 Lesser Whitethroats, 20 Whitethroats, 25 Wheatears, 6 Blackcaps, 10 Willow Warblers, 22 Swallows, 2 singing Sedge Warblers, 7 Yellow Wagtails south, 3 Jays, a Tree Pipit, a White Wagtail, 6 Sand Martins, a House Martin, a male Redstart, and the first Swift of the year flew in off the sea. Offshore a Black-tailed Godwit headed north, 68 Black-headed Gulls south, a Little Egret south, 2 Fulmars (1N,1S), 100 Common Scoter north and a Little Tern south.

39 birds were ringed; 9 Wheatear, 7 Willow Warbler, 5 Whitethroat, 4 Blackcap, 3 Greenfinch, 3 Wren, 3 Linnet, 2 Meadow Pipit, and single Sedge Warbler, Jay and Tree Pipit
