A sunny day with southwesterlies. A nice selection of migrants again this morning with the highlight being a female Serin seen a couple of times, other migrants present were a singing Nightingale, the male Ring Ouzel, 20 Willow Warblers, 5 Yellow Wagtails south, 26 Swallows (20S,6N), 15 Goldfinch south, 9 Sand Martins (8S,1N), 9 Wheatears, 2 Siskins, a female Redstart, a Marsh Harrier south, 10 Whitethroats and 25 Blackcaps. Offshore 3 Common Terns headed south.
33 birds were ringed; 13 Blackcap, 10 Willow Warblers, 7 Whitethroats, and single Lesser Whitethroat, Blackbird and Woodpigeon.
