A sunny day with a stiff easterly breeze. A quieter day with few birds about, although a Yellow-browed Warbler was caught early on and there were also 2 Whinchat, 4 Blackcap, 4 Wheatear, 6 Chiffchaff, 7 Song Thrush, 4 confiding Golden Plover, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Whitethroat, Jack Snipe and a Purple Sandpiper about. Offshore southerly passage included 70 Black-headed Gull, 105 Wigeon, 159 Brent Geese, 137 Teal, 9 Shelduck, 5 Dunlin, 4 Little Gull and single Gannet, Grey Plover, Golden Plover, Great Skua, Red-breasted Merganser & Shoveler. Northerly passage included 6 Pintail, 3 Wigeon, 4 Brent Geese, 3 Common Scoter and an Arctic Skua.

Ringing; 3 Robin, 2 Greenfinch and single Meadow Pipit, Blackcap, Chiffchaff & Yellow-browed Warbler.
