An overcast day with a slight north-north-west wind veering south-south-west mid morning. Grounded migrants included Spotted Flycatcher, 10 Robin, 5 Blackcap, 15 Chiffchaff, 2 Reed Bunting, 5 Wheatear, 2 Snipe, 4 Whitethroat, 3 Whinchat, Rock Pipit and 2 Yellow Wagtail. Viz mig included southerly passage of 4 Pied Wagtail, 4 Song Thrush, 10 Meadow Pipit, 8 Chaffinch, 53 Swallow, Grey Wagtail, Reed Bunting and a Kestrel. There was a steady southerly passage of birds offshore with 448 Teal, 656 Brent Geese, 1258 Wigeon, 15 Pintail, 7 Shoveler, and single Grey Heron, Tufted Duck, Black-tailed Godwit and Dunlin.
