A foggy start with a light westerly. A few migrants were ground this morning and included 5 Blackcap, 10 Chiffchaff, a Skylark, 3 Whitethroat, a Lapwing, 4 Wheatear and the first Lapland Bunting of the autumn. As the fog started to lift Swallows started to move with the final tally being 218 south along with 36 House Martin, 3 Sand Martin and a Hobby. Offshore single Ringed Plover, Arctic Skua & Grey Heron headed south.
19 Birds ringed; 7 Chiffchaff, 4 Blackcap, 3 Greenfinch and single Blackbird, Lesser Whitethroat, Whitethroat, Goldfinch & Linnet.
